Week 12 – Maya viewport 2.0 playblast


Substance Sbsar file into Hypershade.

I’ve found that I can do high quality playblast in Maya viewport 2.0.

I used default render setting and PNG image. I used HDR image with Arnold skydome and made green background. Luckily Playblast render sequence export as transparency background. It only took less than a minute to render 400 frames.


I’ve import png sequence images and compile 7 assets. I am glad that I found big time saver with Maya viewport 2.0 with Substane plugin with sbsar file format.
